Infuser
Power down normally, remove the infuser and rinse it with water only.
Water filter
Replace the compatible filter and complete any activation/setup required by the machine.
Descaling
Run the complete De’Longhi descale programme and rinse sequence.

Weekly physical cleaning
Remove and rinse the Magnifica infuser.
The removable brew group is one of the main differences between Magnifica and integrated-brew-system machines such as JURA.
Shut down normally
Use the machine’s power control and let the brew mechanism park.
Open the service area
Remove the water tank/service panel as required for your Magnifica version.
Release the infuser
Use the release tabs and remove it without forcing the mechanism.
Rinse with water only
Remove loose coffee residue without detergent on the infuser.
Drain and refit
Allow excess water to drain, then reinstall securely before powering up.
