Vertuo Pop uses the newer lever-and-button Vertuo maintenance sequence. Keep the brewing head clean and use the exact Pop descaling mode rather than an Original-line routine.

Keep the shared routine simple, then respect the model controls.
All Vertuo machines benefit from regular cleaning of removable parts and the brewing area, fresh water and periodic descaling. Milk-equipped machines add their own after-use routine.
Refresh water and clean the drip tray and used-capsule container.
Use the correct water-only cleaning/rinse routine for your Vertuo model.
Clean the integrated carafe or automatic steam wand where fitted.
Descale using the exact model sequence, or follow an earlier alert.
