Advanced Dual Froth system
Wipe the wand promptly and clean the removable milk-contact parts.
CLEAN cycle
Run the cleaning-disc and tablet programme for coffee oils and group-head residue.
Descaling
Run the model-specific descale programme and all requested fresh-water flushes.
Water filter
Keep the fitted filter on its replacement schedule.
Grinder & drip tray
Brush loose dry coffee residue away and empty the drip tray before programmed maintenance.

Coffee-oil cleaning
Run the Premier Plus CLEAN cycle.
Use the Ninja cleaning disc and one espresso cleaning tablet through the programmed CLEAN routine, not through the water tank.
Empty the drip tray
Make space for the water discharged by the cleaning programme.
Fill the reservoir with fresh water
Fill to the normal maximum level without adding descaler.
Fit the double basket and cleaning disc
Place the cleaning disc above the basket in the portafilter.
Add one cleaning tablet
Put one espresso cleaning tablet in the centre of the cleaning disc.
Lock the portafilter into the group head
Make sure it is fully secured before starting the programme.
Start the CLEAN programme
Use the ES655UK CLEAN control and start command shown by the machine.
Let the programmed backflush finish
Do not interrupt the cleaning and discharge stages.
Wash and inspect the removable parts
Rinse the portafilter, disc and tray and confirm the tablet has dissolved before returning to normal use.
The ES655UK product family explicitly supports Ninja espresso cleaning tablets. Follow the exact ES655UK control prompt if it differs from the Premier or Pro sequence.
Mineral scale care
Descale the Premier Plus when prompted.
Keep mineral-scale care separate from the cleaning-tablet cycle.
Empty the drip tray
Begin with enough capacity for the water discharged during the programme.
Remove the filter where instructed
Do not leave a replaceable filter in the reservoir if the ES655UK instructions tell you to remove it for descaling.
Prepare coffee-machine descaler
Use the correct dose and fill level for the exact model and descaling product.
Position collection containers safely
Prepare the group-head and steam-wand outlets for the programmed discharge.
Start the DESCALE programme
Use the ES655UK DESCALE control and follow the machine prompts.
Complete the whole cycle
Do not interrupt the descale or requested rinse stages.
Rinse and refill with fresh water
Clean the reservoir and removable parts before completing the fresh-water flushes.
Restore the water filter
Refit or replace the filter after descaling where appropriate.

Incoming water care
Track the Premier Plus water filter.
Filtration sits alongside descaling; it does not replace a descale cycle already requested by the machine.
Remove the used filter insert
Take the used filter out of its housing without forcing it.
Prime the replacement
Prepare the new filter according to the filter instructions.
Fit securely
Reinstall the filter housing correctly in the reservoir.
Record the change
Track the installation date for the next replacement.
Milk-system care
Keep the Advanced Dual Froth system clean.
The Premier Plus adds an extra froth preset, but the care principle remains prompt removal of milk residue from user-cleanable parts.
Wipe the steam wand after use
Remove visible milk residue before it dries.
Allow the purge routine
Let the machine flush the inside of the wand.
Clean the jug and whisk
Wash removable milk-contact components as directed by Ninja.
Check for dried residue
If froth performance changes, inspect user-cleanable milk components before assuming a machine fault.
Dry coffee care
Keep loose grounds out of the grinder area.
Use dry brushing on user-accessible grinder areas and keep moisture away from the burr mechanism.
Remove beans before deeper cleaning
