Weekly care
Clean the Magnifica Evo infuser.
The removable infuser is one of the main routine-care points on the Magnifica Evo.

Switch the machine off normally
Let the machine complete its normal shutdown before opening the service area.

Remove the water tank
Lift the tank out so the infuser access door is clear.

Open the infuser door
Open the service panel and locate the removable infuser.

Release the infuser
Use the release controls on the infuser and pull it out carefully.

Rinse with water
Rinse away loose coffee residue using water only; avoid detergent on the infuser.

Air-dry and refit
Let excess water drain, then reinstall the infuser securely before replacing the tank.
If the infuser does not release easily, do not force it. Let the machine complete a normal shutdown and try again.
Water filtration
Replace the water filter.
Use a compatible filter for your exact machine and follow the replacement instructions supplied with it.

Remove the old filter
Take the used filter out of the water tank if one is fitted.

Prepare the replacement
Prime the replacement filter according to its instructions before fitting it.

Fit it securely
Push the prepared filter firmly into the tank connection.

Refill the tank
Fill with fresh water and reinstall the tank.

Complete machine setup
Follow the model-specific setup or activation procedure shown for your machine.

Fit the hot-water spout if required
Prepare the machine exactly as your model requires before beginning.

Empty waste containers
Empty and refit the drip tray and grounds container.

If a filter is installed, remove it before the descale cycle.

Prepare descaling solution
Dose the descaler according to its instructions, then add the required water.

Place a large container
Use a large container beneath the outlets before starting.

Start the correct descale cycle
Use the button sequence that matches your 4-, 5- or 7-drink Magnifica Evo version.

Complete every rinse stage
Once started, allow the machine to finish the descale and full fresh-water rinse sequence.

De'Longhi states that descaling varies by Magnifica Evo version and should be completed with the full rinse cycle once started.

Relevant Ventori care
Match the product to the maintenance job.
Use descaler for mineral build-up. Coffee-system cleaner is a separate model-specific job and should never be used on the removable infuser. Compatible filtration manages incoming water where fitted.
